At. St. Stephen's Junior School we believe in celebrating the success and achievements of our children, not just academically, but in all aspects of school life. Our core values are Creativity, Independence and Respect and in keeping with these values we encourage our children to do the very best they can in everything they do. Every child has a talent and at St. Stephen’s we are committed to finding and developing that talent.
Creative minds at work
With a little creativity and hard work all things are possible, as can be seen by this wonderous display of work submitted by children across all year groups.

Good Work Assemblies
Every Wednesday we recognise children who have worked hard and shown an exceptionally positive attitude toward school.
When great results are achieved or efforts have been outstanding, either collectively or individually, we make a point of celebrating it loudly and proudly to serve as inspiration for the rest of our school community. Children’s outstanding achievements are rewarded each day in class, but also through publically recognising their positive efforts and attitude. Each week on a Wednesday our Headteacher hosts an assembly which recognises efforts by children from all year groups and we like to share all their successes with the wider school community by adding their images and / or work to the photo gallery below. We may also mention their successes in various news articles on this website and through tweets on Twitter from time to time.
It may be your child’s turn next, so please add this page to your lists of favourites, or follow our twitter account @SSJSCANTERBURY
