What we do

At St Stephen’s Junior School, we are committed to supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of our pupils and staff. We know that everyone experiences life challenges that can make us vulnerable and at times, anyone may need additional emotional support. We take the view that positive mental health is everybody’s business and that we all have a role to play.

The Wellbeing team meet regularly in school to discuss support and referrals, the support could be here in school or to another agency outside of our school setting. We also organise events or activities that promote positive wellbeing, we have organised visits from the NHS Fantastic Fred, supported Young Minds and their Hello yellow campaign and national Mental Health Week.
