Over the summer holidays, Kent County Council have arranged a range of summer activities and discounted offers across the district to help children and families reconnect with communities and learning. Some Reconnect activities are free, others do cost, some have discounts for those in receipt of benefits. Options through Reconnect include;
  • Reconnect Family Activities - including fun days, arts and crafts, baking workshops
  • Reconnect Sports and Outdoor activities - there are a range across the county, here at St. Stephen's there is a Sports Camp with Teamtheme Kent.
  • Reconnect with Learning - through Invicta national Academy there is online summer school.
To find out more about locations, availability and costs, click HEREOn their website you can sign up to their mailing list for latest news or join their Reconnect Facebook page. The offers through the Reconnect Programme are increasing daily. We are awaiting further updates as this summer pupils in Year 6 to 13 will be able to travel free on buses in Kent. Some leisure centres are offering a 6 week child leisure membership pass at significantly reduced rates.
