Our Approach to the Curriculum
Our curriculum is structured to engage our children as independent and creative learners. We use a creative curriculum approach and structure each term based around a theme or topic in each year group. We have designed our curriculum to make learning relevant and exciting for our pupils and we expect them to be fully involved in their learning at all times.
Our broad and balanced curriculum encourages them to develop not only their academic attainment but also to grow in social and personal skills throughout the school day. Project-linked homework menus based around our termly topics are created by the children themselves. This provides an opportunity to extend learning into the home environment with a focus on two of our core school values - independence and creativity.
